Ex-WAG of World Cup hero Christian Vieri stripped naked wearing only body paint

Christian Vieri's ex-wife Melissa Satta once stripped naked and wore only body paint to support the Italian team back at the 2010 World Cup.

It was quite the publicity stunt that boosted her profile while she was still married to the Azzurri legend. However, just a year later, the couple had split up after allegations that Vieri cheated on her with Sara Tommasi.

And Satta's stunt did not have the required effect, either, with Italy flopping big time at the 2010 World Cup. Marcello Lippi's side did not win a single match, crashing out of the competition at the group stage - despite winning the competition back in 2006.

Satta said: "It's a really hard job and they [did] an amazing job. It wasn't like feeling naked, I had something on."

Whether the Italian TV host helped or hindered or country is a mystery but it certainly made quite the stir after appearing in the 2010 issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

The make-up team painted the Italy jersey on Satta for her rookie photoshoot.

However, her modelling days appear to have ended there as she has not appeared in a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue since. Nevertheless, Satta remains a popular figure on social media.

On Instagram, she has over 4.7 million followers and has shared 4682 posts on there while her love life has some illustrious stars included.

After ditching Vieri, Satta was seen leaving a hotel late at night with Kobe Bryant in 2011.

The alleged affair is supposedly what led to Vanessa Bryant filing for divorce and a month later, Satta started a relationship with Kevin-Prince Boateng and the pair were engaged soon after - though in 2020, they announced that they would be getting divorced.
