Johnny Depp spotted using walking aid after 'painful' injury amid 'legendary' tour

Johnny Depp has been spotted walking with a walking boot and crutches as he recovers from his ‘painful’ injury which he informed fans about a few weeks ago. The injury led to him having to cancel several of his European tour dates as he tours with his band, Hollywood Vampires.

The tour featuring Johnny Depp is now back up and running as the band takes to the UK to perform in front of thousands of fans, who are calling the show ‘legendary’ over on social media as they performed their latest show in Scarborough. They’re set to head across the UK before finishing up in Germany before the end of this month.

Depp suffered ‘painful’ ankle injury

Several weeks ago, Johnny took to his Instagram to make fans aware of his health and injury ankle injury, which took place sometime around his visit to Cannes, leading to him not being able to perform at some US shows.

“My dear friends, I am sorry to say that I have fractured my ankle, which is a drag. It began as a hairline break but somewhere between Cannes and The Albert Hall, it got worse rather than better,” the star told his social media followers.

“Several medical professionals have strongly suggested I avoid any and all activity for the moment and so am sadly unable to travel at the time,” he continued.

“Again, sincerest and deepest apologies. All my love and respect, J.D,” the 60-year-old concluded.

His band also took to their social media to reveal the news as they wrote in a statement: “Johnny has sustained a painful injury to his ankle following his recent appearances and has been advised by his doctor not to travel.

He is devastated by this turn of events, but looks forward to resting up so all four Vampires can bring their absolute best to the tour in Europe,” they wrote.

Thankfully, the show is now back on the road, although, in pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, the Hollywood star can be seen walking with crutches and a medical boot as he leaves his hotel in Manchester, UK.

Despite this, the star looked stylish as he headed to the music tour bus sporting a brown leather jacket on top of a blue flannel shirt.

He paired the look with a pair of sunglasses and a green and white sneaker on the foot not aided with a boot.

Fans go wild for the Hollywood hunk’s ‘tattoo jacket’

The Edward Scissorhands movie actor never disappoints with his ‘cool’ style, and fans have recently been going ‘wild’ for his ‘famous’ tattoo jacket.

Whilst performing in the UK, the star wore a jacket that accurately placed depictions of his tattoos, including his Jack Sparrow, on his forearm and his ‘Lily-Rose’ tattoo on his heart, in honor of his daughter.

“The tattoo jacket is back!!” exclaimed one Twitter user, while another wrote: “Love it. JD looks great!”
