Despite previous reports saying she was “alarmed” sources now say Taylor Swift’s bestie, Selena Gomez is happy for her and her newfound love, Travis Kelce.

The music stars have been besties ever since they started dating Nick and Joe Jonas. They’ve been friends with each other through a lot, and sources claim Selena thinks Travis Kelce is the ‘real deal’ for the Love Story singer. Here’s the latest on Selena Gomez‘s thoughts on Traylor.

Selena Gomez is ‘a big supporter’ of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

After reports Selena Gomez was ‘alarmed’ by Taylor and Travis’ relationship moving too fast, the two were spotted hand in hand on a girls’ night out in New York.

Now, new sources claim this was ‘all rubbish’ as they say the Single Soon singer is a “big supporter” of Taylor Swift‘s new relationship, as well as Gigi Hadid.

“Selena and Gigi both love Taylor and Travis together. Selena and Gigi are in a good spot and have put any past drama behind them. They have both moved on,” a source tells Entertainment Tonight.

“Selena thinks this relationship is the real deal for Taylor. She is a big supporter of her and Travis,” the source continues.

“Selena and Gigi see how respectful Travis is of Taylor and that he treats her like a queen. They are happy for both of them.”

Gigi Hadid recently shut down rumors herself that she felt like Taylor was ‘doing too much too soon’. She took to Instagram to write:

“I’m a couple days late to this tag… but didn’t the press try this last week w (sic) Selena? Let it be… we are all over the moon for our girl. Period.”

The source continues to tell the publication that the NFL player “has proven to be caring, honest, and thoughtful,” and also “respects her passion for what she does.”

He’s definitely proved that, flying 5701 miles from Kansas City to Argentina to watch her perform on stage.

The Swift and Kelce families also approve

As well as friends, it looks like the celebrity couple‘s family also approve of the new relationship.

This weekend, Travis was seen at the Buenos Aires concert with Taylor’s dad, Scott. The duo could be seen vibing to the music together, and Scott seemed rather excited when his daughter changed her Karma lyrics to reference Kelce.

Ed Kelce, Travis’ father, also happens to be a fan of the Eras star, as he told PEOPLE: “She’s a very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman.”
